Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is one of the most common disorders in childhood and adolescence, which is 20% associated with a chronic tic disorder. Stimulant therapy (Ritalin) aggravates the tic and complicates the treatment process. Materials and methods: The study is a clinical trial and the statistical population includes children with ADHD with tic comorbidity. Forty children aged 6-18 years were randomly divided into two treatment groups according to DSM-5 criteria, KSADS interview and psychiatric diagnosis. Data were analyzed in SPSS 21 software (P-Value≤ 0.05).

In both groups, the indices of total hyperactivity, hyperactivity, inattention/ cognition, impulsivity/ disobedience of Connors were significantly reduced compared to before treatment. Comparison of the two groups after the intervention showed that the total hyperactivity and hyperactivity scores were significantly different from each other, with the most changes and decreases in the Atomoxetine and Aripiprazole group.
