Abstract Introduction: Covid-19 vaccination is an effective way to deal with this epidemic. For the success of vaccination programs, it is necessary to assess people's willingness to pay to receive the vaccine. This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the level of willingness to pay for domestic and foreign covid-19 vaccines and the factors affecting it in Tabriz city. Methodology: This research was of the type of applied studies and descriptive-analytical survey method. Data were collected from 1200 people over 18 years old in Tabriz by random sampling method. Willingness to pay was determined using conditional valuation method, two-dimensional-double technique and open question method. Findings: The average willingness to pay for the foreign vaccine with the double method was 200,000 Tomans and with the open method was 81,000 Tomans. For domestic vaccine, these values were 29,000 and 51,000 Tomans, respectively. The variables of age, gender, income and health status had a significant effect on willingness to pay. Conclusion: The willingness to pay for the foreign vaccine was more than the domestic vaccine. The findings of this study can help policy makers in the field of vaccination against Covid-19.
