The implementation of the electronic prescribing system can improve the many problems of paper prescribing and save and reduce care costs, reduce prescription mistakes, drug errors, unwanted drug side effects, improve drug therapy and patient safety. Identifying the challenges and benefits of the electronic prescribing system from the point of view of the pharmacy staff, as well as determining the factors that contribute to the occurrence of problems in electronic prescribing, can have a positive impact on achieving ideal conditions for electronic prescribing. This research is qualitative research and was conducted through interviews with the aim of identifying the challenges of the electronic prescribing system from the point of view of employees working in Taleghani-Sina-Madani and Imam Reza pharmacies in Tabriz in the summer of 1402. Tools The data collection in this study is a semi-structured questionnaire, which means that part of the interview was designed in the form of presenting questions in advance, and the next part of the interview was conducted in an open manner with more freedom of action for both parties, and the data collection method There was also an interview with the target group (pharmacy staff) In the end, the results of this study, which was conducted through the analysis of information in a comparative way and many tables and indicators were drawn, showed that the benefits of electronic prescribing, if implemented correctly, will far overcome the problems and the necessity of changing the method from the state It is traditional to electronics. Therefore, the paper version changed its place with its electronic method, but as we have seen, this method is not completely perfect, especially if this method is used without considering the capacities and infrastructure. As we have seen, one of the problems of the pharmacy department in relation to electronic prescribing was the problem of power outages, which can be solved by adding an emergency power source, which includes a UPS device. Or we can avoid the problem of dosing mistakes by designing a system with 100% coverage of drugs along with automatic registration of doses. However, the benefits of electronic prescribing in the case of a more complete implementation will be far higher than its traditional competitor, and this goal is never far from reach, so all organizations and even the patients themselves should work together to achieve this as soon as possible.en_US
