چکیده
Bag and mask ventilation is a major component in establishing airway and induction of general anesthesia. Although bag and mask ventilation is simple in appearance, it can be difficult to do it properly. In this study, we find that the quality of ventilation with a new technique of one-handed ventilation with bags and masks, during which the resuscitator holds the mask as X(HOOK TECHNIQUE) with the dominant hand, is evaluated by the conventional one-handed T / E and E / C method. Using the results of this research, we present the simplest method of ventilation with bags and masks from the above three methods. Methods: In this study, modeling was performed first by 63 people using T / E and E / C and X (HOOK TECHNIQUE) methods, then after confirming the results on modeling, it was performed on patients after obtaining informed consent. Results: The study on modeling was performed by 63 people using three methods: T / E ,E /C and X( HOOK TECHNIQUE). Finally, in the questionnaire registered according to the questionnaire of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education for Bag Mask Ventilation, between the type of technique performed (T /E, E/C and X (HOOK TECHNIQUE)). In the study on patients: Comparing PCo2 obtained from capnography between T / E and X (HOOK TECHNIQUE) techniques in 87.2% of patients ventilated by T / E method, the ventilation result was successful and in patients ventilated by X (HOOK TECHNIQUE) method, the success rate was It was 93.9%. Comparing the PCO2 results obtained from capnography between X (HOOK TECHNIQUE) and E-C techniques, in 93.9% of patients ventilated by X (HOOK TECHNIQUE) method, the ventilation result was successful and in patients ventilated by E-C method, the success rate was 89.6%.
