Evaluation of the levels of miR-30c and miR-193a in Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells of patients with nephrotic syndrome

چکیده
Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is one of common adult renal diseases that is defined with proteinuria. In addition, microRNAs as small single-stranded molecules, are present in the body fluids and cells and they had differential expression during different disorders. Therefore, aim of the study was evaluation of miR-30c-5p and miR-193a-3p expression levels in Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients with NS. Material & methods After blood sample collecting from patients with nephrotic syndrome including, 30 patients with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and 30 patients with Membranous Glomerulonephritis (MGN), miR-30c-5p and miR-193a-3p expression levels was evaluated in comparison to 24 healthy individuals in compared to 24 healthy individuals as control via quantitative real-time PCR technique in PMBC samples. Results miR-193a-3p expression level was increased in PBMCs of all patient groups in compared to control group, but it was not statistically significant. On the other hand, miR-30c-5p expression level remarkably increased in PBMCs of NS (P=0.005), MGN (P=0.037) and FSGS (P=0.004) groups in compared to control group.
