dc.description.abstractAbestract Introduction: The rapid development of information and communication technology has affected all areas, including health care. During Covid-19 outbreak, the growing advances in technology in the field of health care systems are significant in different countries. Therefore, two important issues of health literacy and e-health literacy are more important than ever to obtain accurate and accurate information. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between e-health literacy and adoption of preventive behaviors from the Covid-19 at Tabriz health centers. Method: This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed in Tabriz health centers in 2021. Data collection tool was a questionnaire that validity and reliability had been confirmed in previous studies and was completed by the people who referred to the health centers. Sampling was random. Also, demographic variables were collected to identify their relationship with e-health literacy and preventive behaviors. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to describe the data and non-parametric. Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used to compare different groups and Spearman's correlation test was used to examine the relationship between variables. Findings: There were 200 participants in this study of which 117 were female, and 83 were male. The mean score of e-health literacy of individuals was 28/07±6/78 and also the mean of observing preventive behaviors of Covid-19 was 7/82±3/20. Both the average e-health literacy score and the compliance behaviors of Covid-19 show a low score. Results: The level of e-health literacy and the rate of adopting behaviors to prevent Covid-19 were low. And the findings show that they need to increase their knowledge and awareness in the field of e-health literacy and adopt behaviors to prevent Covid-19.en_US
