dc.description.abstractAbstract Introduction: Due to the importance of hospital waste management, the use of the non-governmental sector in the form of public-private partnership can lead to the improvement of the performance of health centers. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop a waste management framework in public hospitals with the participation of public and private sector. Gooal: Developing public hospitals waste management public-private partnership framework Methods: The study is a qualitative study with the design approach of a public-private partnership framework for hospital waste management services. First, a comprehensive review of the current situation was conducted. Then, the experts' views were collected to design the hospital waste management framework with the participation of the public and private sectors through interviews, and the initial model validation was performed by Delphi method. Results: Finally, 12 articles and 8 reports were included in the study. The framework designed in this study includes 9 main areas (1. Reasons for the need for the presence of the non-governmental sector, 2. Necessary infrastructure and backgrounds, 3. Necessary capabilities and requirements for the activities of the non-governmental sector, 4. Stages of waste management process Hospital, 5. The organization responsible for certification or licensing, 6. Methods of monitoring, monitoring and evaluating the performance of the non-governmental sector, 7. Supervising, monitoring and evaluating the performance of the non-governmental sector, 8. Methods of payment to the non-governmental sector, 9. Results Expected from the participation of the non-governmental-public sector (and the presence and different dimensions of public-private partnership in the implementation of this process is clear) Nine. Conclusion: The framework presented in this study can be used as a framework and guide for hospital managers and officials and especially in the field of environmental health and provide a basis for improving the quality of waste management process in hospitals.en_US
