Survey of development of Homecare advantages from GP's perspective in Tabriz city in 1392

Abstract

Abstract:

Background & Objective: Using technology in health care despite of its effectiveness on patient's cure and improvement, causes cost increasing too that its more aware of hospitals .today increasing of hospitalization costs in hospital, being far from family and risk of catching to nosocomial infections caused Homecare to be more important for people. In this regard this research speaks about development of Homecare advantages from GP's perspective in Tabriz city.

Method: This descriptive and cross sectional study done in Tabriz city in 1392. Data was collected by researcher and help of EDC part of Tabriz University of medical sciences by using questionnaire . The collecting data was analyzed by using of SPSS 17 software.

Results: 3 main themes about homecare obtained, advantages for patient, advantages for family and advantages for community. Results showed that Homecare results in nosocomial infections and hospitals burden decrease and causes partnership between patients and their family in treatment process. also it is the best way of caring special people and helps to improvement of life quality.

Conclusion: According to the participants' , Home care cause of having above advantages can have an important role in delivering health services by using families capacity, community and NGOs and helps development of community partnership.it is obvious that to recognize exact homecare advantages doing deeper and evidence based studies such as cost effectiveness is necessary.
