dc.description.abstractAbstract Introduction: Pharmaceutical brochures are a certified official document that is important for patients to complete the treatment process. Since the main consumer of the drug brochure is the information provided in the brochure, the information provided in the brochure should be able to meet the patient's information needs And in order to quickly improve the patient, give the patient a guide. Objective: Considering the importance of pharmaceutical brochures for patients, this study aims to examine the views of patients using hypertension drugs and their drug tablets to reduce the incidence of drug errors. Methods and methods: In this study, the views of 147 patients referring to the Cardiology Clinic of Madani Hospital and pharmacies under the supervision of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences who use blood pressure medications and their brochures for their drugs were studied. Data collection method is based on questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. Results: In this study, 75.5% of the patients fully studied the brochures before taking the drug, and only 6% of the patients did not read brochures at all. Most of them were satisfied with the font, color, size, and quality of the brochures. And most have stated that brochures do not come up. Conclusion: Pharmaceutical brochures should be updated on the basis of the drug guidance guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. And patients need more contact information and e-mail for more information and ask for statistical information based on the evidence and information source of their medication to use during consultation and communication with their physician and use the above resources for more information. .en_US
