Compare the four dimensions of stainless steel crowns available in Iran’s market with primary molars of children referred to Dental School of Tabriz Univercity of Medical Sciences in 1398

چکیده
Introduction: Restoration of severely damaged primary teeth has always been a major challenge for dentists. Stainless steel crowns are wased for severely damaged for primary teeth. The aim of this study was to compare the four dimensions of stainless steel crowns available in Iran’s market with primary molars of children referred to Dental School of Tabriz Univercity of Medical Sciences. Methods: This in vitro study was performed on 129 primary molars cast from children of 7-10 years old referred to dental school of Tabriz Univercity of Medical Sciences. The buccolingual and mesiodistal and occlusal gingival dimensions of the teeth, as well as the dimensions of the SSCs, were measured by digital caliper. Independent Samples T Test and Parametric test were used to investigate the effect of gender and tooth position on the mean of dimensions. The significance level of the testwas0.05. Results: For lower D, DNTO had the highest and 3M had the lowest adaptation in BL. MIB had the highest and DNTO had the lowest adaptation in H for lower D. in MD, KTR had the highest and MIB had the lowest adaptation KTR had the highest and DNTO had the lowest adaptation. For apper D in BL had the highest MIB and DNTO had the lowest adaptation. The 3M mark had the highest and the DNTO mark had the lowest adaptation. For apper E in the BL dimension, MIB was the hights and KTR the lowest adaption. in MD dimeusion, 3M had the highest and ktr had the lowest. in H, 3M had the highest and DNTO had the lowest adaptation. For lower E in the BL dimension 3M had the highest and KTR the lowest. in the MD dimension MIB the highest and the DNTO mark the lowest, in the H dimension the KTR had the highest and the 3M mark had the lowest adaptation. Conclusions: In seems that adaptiation in Baccu Lingual dimeation is the most important item in fitting of SSC,best adaptation was seen in DNTO brand for first lower molar and right second lower molar ,3M brand for left first upper molar and left second lower molar and right second upper molar and the end MIB for right first upper molar and left second upper molars.
