Evaluation of knowledge health care personals about oral health in Bonab in 2011

Abstract

The health care personal play an important role in giving primary health services which is training hygiene dental and mouth. So the purpose of this study is determine knowledge health care persona in Bonab city for prevention of dental diseases and mouth. Method : This research was descriptive and cross sectional.The universe included 50 members of health care personal in Bonab health centers in 1390 and of that reason the universe was limited,The sampling didnot take and to study the total of health care personal for determine khowldged of health care personal with use of questionnaire that created by the researcher that included 24 questions to assess knowledge was used. So the obtained information with help software spss to analyzed. In analyze of data of tests to used of variyance and pirsoon. Results:The mean grade knowledge of health care personal studied was 76/21+ 11/95 of 100.There was significant relationship between knowledge and attiude with health care personal gender , also was converse and significant relationship between knowledge and work experience. But the knowledge health care personal of oral heigen knowledge wasnot acheive in base of education level of their. Conclusion : The mean knowledge of health care personal of oral and dental hygiene was desirable but for improve health workers knowledge ,it is necessary to give training in this field because there is converse relationship between knowledge and work experience and age. So to make shift training courses for people with age and high experience work, more is required .
