Furanolabdane diterpene glycosides from Eremostachys laciniata

Abstract

Three furanolabdane diterpene glycosides, phlomisoside II (1), eremostachiin (2) and beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester of phlomisoic acid (3, named laciniatiin), the latter being a new natural product, were isolated from the methanol extract of the rhizomes of Eremostachys laciniata. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic means.
