Etiology of childhood stroke in developed and developing countries, systematic review
Abstract
Stroke is increasingly recognized as a cause of childhood disability. Historical perceptions that children recover well from stroke have been contradicted by recent outcome studies documenting high rates of lifelong complications. The aim of this systematic study is to investigate the etiology of stroke in children in developing and developed countries.
Methods: In this comprehensive and systematic review study, all the main articles were related to people's knowledge and awareness about cerebral palsy and its symptoms. and WOS from January 2000 to December 2023 were included in the study. Also, in the search strategy, only articles written in English or Persian articles written in English were entered. In this study, the etiology of stroke in children has been investigated
Results :From the 878 extracted studies, after reviewing the studies and removing similar studies and unrelated studies, finally 14 studies remained, of which 12 studies were related to developing countries and 2 studies were related to developed countries.
