چکیده
postmenopausal women with osteoporosis and healthy women. Also there was no relationship between the risk of osteoporosis/osteopenia and DTAC. There was a positive relationship between DTAC and BMD in the femur in the crude model. Women in tertile 3 of DTAC (highest antioxidant capacity) had higher BMD in the femur in the crude model compared to women in tertile 1 (lowest DTAC) (OR: 0.51, 95% CI: 0.95, 0.28, p-trend=0.03). The intake of antioxidants such as vitamin A, beta-carotene, vitamin C, zinc and selenium in T3 was higher than T1. Conclusion: Our study indicated that more pro-inflammatory diets might be associated with risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. And the diet containing antioxidants plays an important role in the protection of osteoporosis. Keywords: Dietary inflammatory index, Osteoporosis, Food frequency questionnaire, Dietary total antioxidant capacity, Postmenopausal women
