The economic strategy of different countries in the face of the Corona pandemic in the world

Introduction: The policies and strategies of countries in dealing with the Covid-19 crisis have been carried out in support of households and vulnerable groups and people's businesses in social and economic fields. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to conceptually examine the economic policies of governments in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Methodology: This research is a comprehensive study. The selected MENA and OECD countries are research societies. The search period for evidence from 2020 to 2022 is based on internal and external databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Irandoc and Magiran. 53 cases out of 3267 cases were selected and the case was evaluated. Content analysis method was used to analyze the data and the results were expressed in the form of descriptive statistics.
Findings: The policies of most countries in the fields of (economic and social measures) were presented in support of households and vulnerable groups and economic enterprises, including¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ stimulus packages, tax deferrals and tax exemptions, wage subsidies and deferment of debt obligations. which are between 0 and 14% of real GNP in the world. The region's average stimulus package size is 3.67 percent, significantly lower than the global average of 11 percent. Among the 64 selected countries, the average share of government support to (GNP) was 6.3%, and the lowest and highest shares belonged to Ecuador with 0.05% and Germany with 23%, respectively. While the contribution of financial support to Iran's GNP is calculated to be around 7%.
Conclusion: Considering the effectiveness of countries' economic policies, it is not possible to assess the extent of serious and catastrophic damage caused by epidemics on the economy, health and lifestyle in the short term, and it needs a longer period. In Iran, in the style of managing the Covid-19 crisis, the inadequacy of preventive measures and rehabilitation equipment can be mentioned as one of the basic challenges of policy making in the fight against this disease.
