Abstract
With the increase in population aging rate and the high and increasing prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, health wearable devices have received special attention as a solution for monitoring people's health status and early and cheap diagnosis of diseases. The purpose of this research is to design a kit to be installed on the glasses of the elderly to detect the pulse of the temporal artery branch of the patients and transmit the message to the application installed on the mobile phone and analyze the data through the application. Methods: In this study, a photoplethysmographic optical sensor was used to measure the pulse. Then, the received data is sent to the relevant server using the Wi-Fi module and Internet of Things technology, and then displayed on the web application at pulsesense.ir. Also, the 3D model was designed and printed with 3D printing to store the electronic parts and connect to the glasses handle. Results: During this study, a gadget was made to measure the pulse of the temporal artery, which can send and store this data to the server and also display the pulsating movements of the pulse on the corresponding web application.
