Abstract
One of the main problems of patients after surgery is the presence of severe pain after the operation, and the lack of proper control of such pain can lead to physical complications, increase in body metabolism, exacerbation of underlying diseases, increase in blood pressure, and increase in the length of the patient's stay in the hospital. , increasing patient costs, dissatisfaction, patient non-cooperation and increasing the amount of chronic pain. So far, very few studies have been conducted on methylene blue after hemorrhoidectomy surgery, so our aim in this study is to compare the effects of local injection of methylene blue adrenaline ampoule and marcaine adrenalin in controlling pain after hemorrhoidectomy surgery. Methods: In this clinical trial study, the number of 100 patients who visited the surgery clinic of Imam Reza and Taleghani Hospital in Tabriz between October 2019 and March 2018 and were diagnosed with hemorrhoids and were candidates for surgery were included in the study. The patients were divided into two groups and the patients' information was recorded and collected by a pre-designed checklist. Results 100 patients were included in this study. Among them, 79 people (79%) were men and 21 people (21%) were women. Most of the studied patients were between 40 and 49 years old. There was no significant relationship between the duration of surgery, the number of hemorrhoids and the duration of hospitalization in the two groups of patients. The intensity of pain in the patients of Metlin Blue Adrenaline group 2, 12, 24 and 36 hours after surgery was significantly less than that of Markain Adrenaline group. In the study of complications caused by the operation, the itching rate of patients in the Markain Adrenaline group was significantly higher than that of the patients in the Methylene Blue Adrenaline group. In the study of the satisfaction level of the studied patients, the patients of the Methylene Blue Adrenaline group were significantly satisfied with the way of controlling their pain.
