Abstract
Introduction : Currently, organ transplantation is one of the best treatment options for most organ failure patients in the final stages of the disease. Organ and tissue transplantation significantly increases the probability of survival and the quality of life of patients in need of transplantation. More than one million people around the world receive organ transplants every year, and some of them survive even after 25 years. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the feeling towards the transplanted organ with the function of the organ and adherence to the drug regimen in transplanted organ recipients in 2019. analysis method: This research is a correlational study and its samples consist of 245 liver and kidney recipients who referred to medical centers and doctors' offices in Tabriz city. Sampling is available Done. The method of data collection was in the form of a questionnaire and after obtaining the consent of the samples, it was done in the treatment centers of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. 1) Questionnaire of personal and social characteristics 2) Questionnaire of feelings towards the transplanted organ 3) Questionnaire of compliance with the regimen of immunosuppressive drugs In order to analyze the data obtained from the collected questionnaires, descriptive and inferential statistical methods have been used. In this way, to describe the answers given to the questions of the questionnaires of this research, frequency distribution tables and the percentage of answers related to each of the questions have been used. And to show the statistical data of general questions in a visual form, column charts have been used. . In this research, it was used to analyze data and test hypotheses at an inferential level using Pearson's parametric test through statistical software spss, version 21. In this way, after presenting the descriptive statistics of the research variables, their normality or not is tested using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method. If the research variables have a normal distribution, the type of relationship (correlation) of the research variables is tested using parametric tests. And otherwise, it is tested using non-parametric tests. According to the results of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and considering that the variables in question have a non-normal distribution, we use Spearman's test, which is one of the types of non-parametric tests, to analyze the research findings. findings: The results of the study showed that out of the three areas of this questionnaire (1. The recipient's concern about the transplanted organ, 2. Positive attitude towards the transplanted organ, 3. Psychological rejection and feeling of alienation of the transplanted organ), the highest score is related to the second area (Positive attitude towards the transplanted organ). transplanted) is (27.40±5.31) and the lowest score is related to the third area (psychological rejection and feeling of alienation of the transplanted organ) (14.68±3.54). In terms of the average score of the Basel standard (0-20), a score of 1.01 ± 1.93 was obtained, which indicates the high adherence of patients to the use of immunosuppressive drugs. 155 people (63.3%) of the samples had complete adherence to the use of immunosuppressive drugs. And the rest had a relatively high adherence to the use of drugs. Also, the results of the Spearman statistical test show that between each of the fields of the questionnaire, there is a difference in feeling towards organ transplantation. Also, the total score of this questionnaire has a positive and significant relationship with the average score of the questionnaire of adherence to the use of immunosuppressive drugs. (p<0.01, r=0.25) Conclusion: According to the results of the study, which indicates the existence of a positive and significant relationship between the feelings of the recipient of a transplanted organ and adherence to the use of immunosuppressive drugs, special attention should be paid to the feelings of patients towards the transplanted organ in order to increase their quality of life.
