Analyses the consumption pattern of health services among the insured in Tabriz city

Abstract
Abstract Introduction: The provision of health services and its correct use is one of the most basic approaches of the health system. In an environment of limited resources, the policy makers of the health system must identify solutions for financing and providing health services that are sustainable. Such solutions require that the policy makers Understand the complex interaction between health service consumption patterns, factors affecting service consumption and provider performance. Methodology and Materials: This study is a cross-sectional study with an applied design. The data of health services (outpatient and inpatient) were obtained from the health insurance organization of East Azarbaijan Province in 1998, and the work method was carried out using the descriptive statistical method (mean and mode) and in the department Next, the econometric method was used, which includes regression (logit, order, and simple) and finally, the t-test of significance was used to check the difference between the means. In this study, STATA version 15 software was used for data analysis. Findings: In this study, according to the obtained results, the degree of influence of demographic variables on service consumption is positive and direct. The influence of gender variable is different depending on the service (outpatient or inpatient). Outpatient and inpatient services, the t-test performed is significant, which confirms the direct effect of variables on consumption. According to the regression used, the desired model is statistically significant according to 2 logit and order regressions as a whole, but with Paying attention to the simple linear regression of the model is not significant. Conclusion: In this study, the consumption of health services in both sectors (outpatient and inpatient) has increased with increasing age,urbanization and unemployment. The results of the study showed that the consumption pattern of health services is directly influenced by demographic variables. Keywords: consumption pattern, health services
