Providing strategies for the establishment of successful aging components in the Iran's health system

Introduction and goal:
Compilation and implementation of successful aging policies and programs will not only allow people to live longer, but this period will be accompanied by better health and quality of life for them. For this purpose, this study was conducted with the aim of providing strategies for the establishment of components of successful aging in the country's health system.
Procedure:
The present research is a qualitative study. In the first phase; A systematic review was conducted using scientific search methods to determine the components of successful aging in the world's health systems. In the second phase, using a comprehensive review, the status of the components of successful aging in the health programs of the country was determined. In the third step, a comparative study was conducted to determine the implementation status of the components of successful aging in the health system of several countries, and finally, according to the results, a qualitative study was conducted and the strategies of establishing the components of successful aging in the health system The country was presented.
Findings:
21 articles related to the topic were identified and content analyzed and categorized in the form of components, sub-components and strategies for implementing successful aging. By examining the health programs of the country, the amount of attention or lack of attention to the components of successful aging in each of the programs was determined. In the next step, the status of the components of successful aging in several other countries was investigated with a comparative study. Then, a total of 16 semi-structured interviews with experts and experts in the field of geriatrics, strategies for establishing successful geriatrics in the country's health system were presented.
Conclusion:
According to the surveys conducted in our country, more focus has been placed on the sub-components of providing appropriate health services, medical and therapeutic services, and the physical environment, and measures have been taken. In this research, strategies such as prioritizing the issue of successful aging, involving the private sector in the implementation of programs and considering the budget to implement the planned programs were presented, which can be used to improve the successful aging of the country's elderly. harvest.
