Determining post-corona health tourism strategies for Iran

Introduction: Health tourism is a subcategory of tourism, in which foreign tourists, in addition to receiving medical and health services, travel for recreation and to visit historical and cultural places and attractions of that country. With the arrival of the emerging infectious disease covid-19, the number of foreign tourists entering Iran decreased. The purpose of this research is to investigate the current state of health tourism and its impact on covid-19, from the perspective of key informants, and also to identify post-coronavirus strategies for health tourism and provide final strategies. From the point of view of experts, it is.
Methodology: The current study is of a qualitative type, which was conducted with the help of semi-structured interviews in 1401. which includes 13 key informants in the health tourism industry and was done in person or by phone. In the next step, the strategies extracted through the Delphi technique were evaluated and prioritized with the participation of 15 people.
Findings: The results of the interviews included 10 main strategies, which were identified after prioritization by important trim experts: 1. Marketing and advertising strategy 2. Creation of targeted training courses 3. Pricing
Conclusion: It seems that in the post-coronavirus era, the focus of the country's health tourism industry should be on topics such as marketing, targeted training on the target audience and beneficiaries, and a tariff system suitable for the state of the health tourism industry.
