Identifying and Analyzing The Experiences and Challenges of Providing Services to COVID 19 Patients in Imam Reza and Children Hospitals and Provide Solutions to Solve Them

Abstract
Abstract Introduction: The Covid-19 epidemic, which began in Iran in late 2019, has created many problems for hospitals, health centers, service providers, managers and the public. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the experiences and challenges of providing services to COVID-19 patients in Imam Reza and Tabriz Children's Hospitals and to provide solutions to solve them. Method and Materials: The present study is a qualitative study that was conducted between 2018 to 2019 in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, using systematic review and qualitative research. Systematic review was performed in English language databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of knowledge and Persian language databases in IranDoc, SID, MagIran. There were 43 participants in the qualitative phase who were selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected in a qualitative phase using a semi-structured interview method. The method of data analysis in systematic review and qualitative phase was content analysis and in the prioritization matrix using descriptive statistics. Finding: Based on the screening of the results of the systematic review, finally 40 documents met the inclusion criteria. The results of systematic review in two areas of challenges and problems of hospitals in the management of COVID-19 patients and better management strategies of COVID-19 patients were categorized and reported. The results of qualitative study data analysis lead to the identification of problems, challenges related to the service process, human resources, the nature of the disease and patient companions, experiences and strategies that include patient and community participation and empowerment, human resource management and development, structure development, credible and financial management He was hospitalized. Conclusions: The use of appropriate shift programs, staff empowerment, periodic visits and general vaccinations can improve the management of Covid-19 in medical centers. The findings of this study can be a comprehensive guide for policy makers and managers to make the necessary reforms to strengthen hospitals to better manage and manage COVID-19.
