Abstract
Abstract: Today, due to changes in lifestyle and serious nutritional imbalances, the number of people suffering from hair loss has increased. Drugs for treatment of hair loss have a limited effect and have several side effects Therefore, the tendency of people to use herbalmedicines has increased due to fewer side effects and more mechanism of action. The use of nanoparticle drug delivery systems improves the effectiveness and reduces side effects. Aim: Evaluations the efficacy of nanostructured lipid carrier of Lavander essential oil for hair growth Materials and Methods: The essential oil was obtained from the aerial parts of lavander by hydro-distillation using a Clevenger. Lipid nanoparticles were prepared by a hot homogenization method. Then, in animal studies, 9 different groups (positive control, negative control groups, essential oil with two dilutions of 0/6 and 3%, nanostructured lipid carrier of Lavander essential oil with two dilutions of 0/6% and 3%) for 28 days to determine the efficacy, the hair diameter and length and factors affecting hair growth were evaluated. Results: These results have demonstrated that the mechanism of action of Lavender essential oil in improving hair growth is potentially associated with as β-catenin, FGF-7, IGF-1 and Bcl2/Bax. According to the results, the groups receiving nanostructured lipid carrier of Lavander essential oil 3%, In terms of change in hair length and diameter and expression factors affecting hair growth, they were significantly superior to other groups. Taking this formulation in a treatment group Consume every three days has had similar results to taking it daily. Conclusion: Lavender essential oil as a hair growth stimulant affects several factors and the nanostructure lipid carrier of lavender essential oil with a concentration of 3% consumption every three days due to improved effectiveness and ease of use can be used as a suitable treatment method stimulate hair growth.
