Assessment the Knowledge amount of health related Non-Governmental Organizations in the field of deployment of interactive portals

Abstract
Background:Moving toward 11st century ,the need to access relevant
knowledge ,private and public organizations are also seeking to develop innovative
tools and services inorder to response this need.Knowledge management is a
concept that mentioned in order to access to the relevant knowledge and it means
creating ,transfer and use of knowledge in organizations and Information Technology
could have an important role in the knowledge management.In this
way,portals,which are one of the IT tools used in the discussion of knowledge about
this tools is an important content for both managers and consumers and for the
suppliers of this tool.
Method:This is a crosssectional study that conducted in 30 health
related Non-Governmental Organizations in Tabriz and 61 members of these
organizations participated in this study.We evaluated the amount of their knowledge
in the field of deployement of interactive portals.Analysis of data conducted by SPSS
in the form of descriptive statistics.
Findings:Results of this study showed that knowledge of NonGovernmental Organizations in the field of portal definition,goals of interactive
portals,portal audiences,infrastructures and capabalitis were at an unfavorable level.
Conclusion:According to the unfavorable level of knowledge of these
organizations in the field of deployment of interactive portals it is suggested that
should be taken to increase the knowledge of these organizations so that the use of
these portals can be effective.
