Investigating the effectiveness of management training courses from the perspective of managers in the field of health deputy of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences

Introduction: Professional growth is one of the concerns of managers today in the development and training of employees, especially in the field of health. In this regard, it is necessary to review and be aware of the quality of training and the results and efficiency of training managers for further training in order to complete the training cycle in this way. Because evaluating the quality of education is a prerequisite for a successful education system. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of management training courses from the perspective of managers in the field of health of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.
Method:
The statistical population in this cross-sectional descriptive study included all managers working in the field of health deputy of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences who had passed the management fellowship courses. In this study, 51 people from the managers entered the study as a census. A standard questionnaire was used to collect the data. The questionnaire consisted of two parts: demographic specifications (5 questions) and the main part of the questions included 44 questions in 4 levels of reaction rate, learning rate, behavior rate and results that measured the effectiveness of educational management courses. The score on the Likert scale included five options (excellent, very good, good, average, poor). After collection, the data were entered into SPSS software version 22 and analyzed using appropriate statistical tests (descriptive and analytical).
results
78.4% of the participants in the study were men and 68.6% of them were in the age group of 36 to 41 years. Also, 76.5% of people had work experience over 16 years old and 56.9% of them had a doctorate degree. According to the research findings, 56.9% of the mean scores of the reaction dimension, 47.1% of the average scores from the learning dimension, 51% of the average scores in the behavioral dimension and 45.1% of the mean score in the results dimension were in good condition.
Discussion:
The results obtained in all four dimensions of reaction, learning, behavior and results indicate the existence of effectiveness in training courses at a relatively optimal level. However, some of the dimensions and aspects of the training courses held have shortcomings and shortcomings that should be considered in the next courses to increase effectiveness.
