In all dimensions of traffic behavior except violence, the average score was moderate. Also, there was a significant relationship between age, education, gender and marital status with traffic behaviors, so that traffic behavior had a significant relationship with age and its increase and level of education. Also, traffic behavior was significantly better in women and married people.
Discussion and conclusion: The study showed that the average pedestrian traffic behavior scores in the city of Urmia were average. Given the importance of the role of human factors in traffic accidents and pedestrian accidents, the best way to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents for this group of road users is to use preventive and educational programs according to their demographic characteristics.
