A Feasibility of e-Learning in View Point of Nursing Students' and Personnel's in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, 2011.
Abstract
Abstract: One of the basic needs for the feasibility of carrying on e-learning is the skills, empowerment, and the attitudes of the users of this program. In this research & theses needs from the points of view of three important and influential groups which were students, professors, and managers were measured by using descriptive method and a researcher made questionnaire with required validity and reliability. The participants of the study were 97 graduate students of nursing and 36 staff of Medical Science University with statistical method. According to the finding of the study, it became clear that most student (63/9) and professors (64/3) in the skills of using computer were in intermediate levels. The empowerment of the most students (78/4) in using the internet were in the intermediate levels and the empowerment of most professors (57/1) were weak. The attitudes of most students (82/5) and professors (72/4) in e-learning were intermediate. But the attitudes of one hundred percent of the manager were in high levels. According to the finding, it became clear that the prerequisite for e-learning of the post graduate students of medical science university were in intermediate levels. Therefore, it can be suggested that the educational e-learning programs must enter the post graduate studies, simultaneously programs for progressing these prerequisites must be done.
