Evaluation the Quality of Life and Abundance of anxiety in Young People with Premature Canities in Tabriz city in 2019-2020
Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the quality of life and the frequency of anxiety in young people with premature graying of hair in Tabriz in 2019-2020.
Materials and Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed during 2020 with the participation of 100 young people with premature graying of hair who referred to the dermatology and hair clinics of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Questionnaires of quality of life, Beck anxiety and demographic information were used to examine the relevant variables and after recording the relevant information in each questionnaire and entering it in SPSS statistical software with Chi-Square and Mann-Whitney U statistical tests and Najieh And analyzed. A p value of less than 0.05 was considered significant.
Results: After analyzing and comparing the data, it was found that the standard deviation ± mean anxiety was 38.17 4 4.29 and quality of life was 15.37 ± 1.56 (P = 0.113); The study of the relationship between different variables affecting premature graying of hair between demographic characteristics with two variables of anxiety and quality of life showed that age with anxiety (P = 0.046) and quality of life (P = 0.049), gender There is a statistically significant difference with anxiety (P = 0.039) and the presence of similar disease in relatives with quality of life (P = 0.038) and they can play a role in causing these disorders.
