Studying Quality of Health Care Service to the Combined Oral Contraceptive Pills User as Tabriz Health –Therapeutic Centers in 2002.

Abstract

Abstract: Introduction: One of the important events in present time is revolution of contraception and family planning is more effective method for preventing death of mothers and infants. Because of quality of mothers life has been improves by protecting them from pregnancy. The oral contraceptive pills are the most important and effectiveness methods of birth control. As many as 70 million women use OCP as a contraceptive daily. Although there is a theoretical and practical failure coefficient differentially. As assessing the quality of providing services is a key element for achieving appropriative programs, so researcher has designed this study to perform at Tabriz health therapeutic centers in 2002. Materials and Methods: This was a descriptive study. It was interviewed of and observed one hundred provider and five hundred user the combined oral contraceptive pills. Applying descriptive statics (that is, Absolute frequency and percent) and inferential statistics (that is, ANOVA and test Pearson), analyze data with software systems of WIN/ SPSS 10. Results: The results of this study indicated the quality of the presented service was to make relationship very high about 87%, give instructions at the average degree about 63%, counseling well about 48%. Physical exam weakly about 87%, healthy file records moderate about 62%, following up moderate about 63% and completely in the presented service weakly about 42%. Access health services were suitable about 50.2%. There are significant difference among quality of instruction presenting by associated degree and secondary workers. The quality of instruction, counseling, health file record and total presented service by contractual providers was difference significantly from others groups. The same quality and follow up by the health centers providers was difference significantly from others group. And finally, record of service has a negative effective in the stage of follow up. Conclusion: In spite that the healthy services providers have the most important in improving how to present service, to the user of combined contraceptive pills. In the study, presented and given information can have an important role in planning by executive chiefs of healthy and treatment to improve quality of the presented services through establishing classes.
