Therefore perform of investigation with this title is seeing necessary. If the practice of these individuals was low probable causes should be studied with future investigations and amendments should be offered. Material and Method: This is a descriptive study which were observed the practice of 142 health care workers (17 specialists of obstetrics and gynecology, 25 residents of obstetrics and gynecology, 8 midwifes, 8 nurse's aide, 19 nurses and 65 midwifery students) in delivery room operating room and surgical –obstetrical wards in two women's medical educational centers of Tabriz. Stratified random sampling was used. Three checklist for three research places were provided. Descriptive statistics (frequencies, percent, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (chi square, fisher test, t test and ANOVA) were used for data analysis. Results: The study showed that the practice of personnel and students about prevention of blood and body fluids contact is high in 12% of individuals, mean in 62.6% and low in 25.4%. Results showed statistically significant difference between personnel and students practices with work (p<0.001), medical educational center (p=0.014), ward (p<0.002), age (p=0.049) and duration of working (p=0.044), but there weren't statistically significant difference between personnel and students practice with work shift, quality of surgery or delivery condition and course of midwifery students (p>0.05). Conclusion: Results of study showed that personnel and students practices about prevention of blood and other body fluids contact is well only in 12%. There for probable causes of this low rate should be considered as well as managers should provide educational programs about prevention of blood borne diseases, and should conducted health care workers' HBV vaccination and preparation of personnel protective equipment.
