Assessment of adherence, oral tissue sensivity and satisfaction level of patients using Rozhin and Corega company`s denture adhesives

Abstract
Introduction: There are different options for eduntoulus patients that have dentures and Implant base prosthesis. Denture treatment are yet a crucial part of theorical and practical education of dentistry. In course of time ridge resorption and denture depreciation occurs and this lowers performance and satisfaction level. Denture adhesives are considered as one of the options to improve retention and masticatory ability in denture wearer elderly patients with severe resorption of alveolar ridge. Besides being affordable, this solution is also easy to use for elderly edentulous patients and can be considered as a suitable solution for people that are dissatisfied with retention and stability and are not able to use the other solutions. Methods: At this clinical trial triple blind study,52 patients, who have used denture for 4 to 7 years, were assessed. After the usage of Adhesives, Checklists were filled at Followup sessions. Eventually the results were analyzed with SPSS-17 software and the significance level was considered as P < 0/05. Results: The results indicated that iranian and foreign adhesives have no significant level as taste, smell, washability, oral tissue sensivity, adherence and satisfaction level. Conclusion: To be concluded Iranian adhesive is almost equel to foreign product, therefore we can pre. scribe these adhesives for patients with unstable denture problem.
