The Effective of Factors on Nurses' Motivation to Contribute in In–Service Education Programs in Social Assurance Organization, Tehran, 1995.

Abstract
Abstract: This research is a descriptive analytic study to investigate the effective factors in Nurses Motivation to contribute on In-service education programs in remedy assistance Hospitals of social security organization on Tehran. It consists of one goal and four special objectives which are about demographic data and motivation factors in Nurses behavior to contribute in In-service education programs. In this research 147 nurses of various wards of mentioned hospitals have been chosen on the base of a sampling method as random sampling. The means for data collection were questionnaire which consisted of two parts. First part inquired certain personal characteristics and the second part designed in relation with intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors. Descriptive and inferential statistics have been to achieve the research objectives and the results have been shown in 14 tablets and 22 diagrams. The findings of this research about intrinsic factors showed that growth with 4.608 score, advancement with 4.575 score, work itself with 4.329 score, responsibility with 4.270 score, achievement with 4.192 score were effective intrinsic factors in nurses motivation to contribute in In-service education programs. Findings of this research about extrinsic factors showed that status with 3.781 score, work condition with 3.589 score, interpersonal relation with 3.497 score, administration with 3.425 score, supervision with 3.338 score and personal life with 3.323 score were effective extrinsic factors in Nurses motivation to contribute in In-service education programs. There was no significant correlation between nurse's motivation and variables of age, marital status, children, under school children education, place of work (Hospital), and place of work (ward), record of service (unit), record of service (all), recruitment, and status of worker, second job and priority of works. But there was significant correlation between nurse's motivation and variable of sex. The researcher has recommended some points for application of finding and further researches. Hoped that, this research can be improve quality of nursing practice.
