The Contribution Rate of Birth attendance Personnel in Facilitating Bonding Process between Mother and Newborn at the First Hour of Birth in Two Teaching Hospitals, Tabriz, 1995.

Abstract
Abstract: This is research is a descriptive study which has been conducted in order to considering the value of contribution of birth attendance personal in facilitating bonding process between mother and newborn with first hour of birth at the delivery rooms of Medical center of Tabriz, and consist of general objective and two specific objectives in first and second phase of bonding process in first hour of birth. This research has been done on 100 Midwife, Medical and Midwifery students of Medical Science and Azad University. The selected sampling method in this study have been stratified random sampling from 320 research population. The data gathering tools were consisted of interview form for collecting demographic specification observation form for recording the characteristics of behavior of birth attendance. To access to the research objectives descriptive and comprehensive statistics have been used and the results have been presented at 43 tables and 10 diagrams. The results of the study indicated that the value of contribution in the first phase of bonding process was 19.2 percent, and in the second of phase of bonding process was 31.3 percent. Implication for Midwifery practice, education and research were identified and discussed. Finally the investigation has been presented suggestion to further studies based on the findings of the research by hope that positive attitude to ward of the facilitating the bonding process of mother and newborn.
