Finding of this study showed that 48.2% of the patients have diet regimen compliance. Susceptibility for diabetic complications and motivation had significant relation with compliance. With increased barriers from diet regimen, compliance decreased and with increased education also compliance increased. The greatest compliance was achieved with high perceived susceptibility and high motivation. Poor compliance was associated with high perceived barriers.
