Knowing the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Different Groups of People in order to Provide them with any Kind of Education and Programs for the Population Control

Abstract: Introduction: Knowing the knowledge, attitude and practice of different groups of people in order to provide them with any kind of education and programs for the population control purpose and to prevent irregular births growth are very important. Therefore, educating, programming, and changing attitude, practice and believes of people (Who receive these kind services for family existing and birth control), without we knowing about their existing present situation, won’t be productive.
Materials and Methods: To analyses these factors which have effects in family planning, 165 urban women and 165 rural women were chosen as bunch. For gathering data, they used interview papers which had been already prepared for this research, and in order to analyses them (data). They used descriptive and analytical statistics.
Results: The results of present research have been presented in 31 tables. The results of the research showed the followings: The knowledge and awareness of the majority urban and rural women (74% and 60.6%, accordingly) about this subject were average, and they (76.97% and 83.64%, again accordingly) had negative attitude toward the use of oral and mechanical methods in contraception. From the point of practice, the majority of urban and rural women 66.3% and 56.8%, accordingly) had weak practice toward the use of contraceptive pill(s), pretty strong one (100%) toward the condom(s) and also pretty weak one (100%) toward the IUD.
