The Assessing Way of the Application Principal Patient's Blood Pressure Measurement by Staff Nursing in Saghez Imam Khomeini’s Hospital, 1996.

Abstract

Abstract: Objective: The assessing way of the application principal patient's blood pressure measurement by staff nursing. Design: This research is a descriptive study. The method of data gathering was being by using checklist including 45 visible in stances blood pressure measurement, also there was questionnaire including 13 questions related with individual particulars and possibilities of researched units. Setting: The field of this study was Saghez Imam Khomeini’s hospital dependent on Kurdistan Medical Sciences University. Participants: 53 staff nursing were measuring patient’s blood pressure; each sample was studied at three times (total=159). Results: The results of this research have been represented by using descriptive and analytical statistics, also by calculation distinction’s sum and mean, in 39 tables and 8 diagrams. It showed the way of application principal’s blood pressure by staff nursing that it has been 53% desirable and 47 undesirable, also there was meaningful between scientific degree (p<0.01), age, monthly work time researched units and patient’s number (p<0.05) with the way application principle patient’s blood pressure measurement. Conclusion: Regarding the role of staff nursing and importance the correct way of blood pressure measurement, the results of this research can be established while on duty training, also that will be applied emphasizing on correct principle blood pressure measurement in the internship place while it can being helped to promotion clinical quality care.
