Abstract
Abstract: Introduction: This study is a descriptive study to examine the pattern of antibiotic use in outpatients of Hospitals of Ardabil medicine University.
The means for collecting data were questionnaire. The questionnaire includes two parts that completed in two stages. In the first stage demographic data with the prescription from of physician collected and after 7 days questions about pattern of drug use was completed. Descriptive and inferential statistics have been to achieve the research objectives and the results have been shown in 57 tables. There consist of patient’s penographic, pattern of antibiotics and relationship between some demographic characteristics and behaviors of drug using. In this study has fined that many of people use drugs in correct manner in the field of name, form, dosage, route, manner of diagnosing the specific drugs, but in the other holds such as the route for remembering to take drug, the practice in the case of side effect present the manner for using the other drugs with antibiotics their practice was not good. The drug in formation is not efficient for people and many of information was given by physician. Patients was discontinued their drugs before the completing the correct duration. Many of people store the drugs in home and people with no education diagnosis their specific drug with color and shape of drugs. Results showed that the patients with high class of community use correct pattern of drug using and men, singles, high educated people use correct pattern.
