Abstract
Abstract: Introduction: One of the programs of Administration of Hygiene, health and Medical Education is to conform technical medical matters to bases of Islamic holy religious law. But unfortunately after many years of approval of this project, there are many problems in its performance. As Afzali- Fard and Kar- Amooz (1996) showed in their survey that in more than 51% of cases, the religious law were not regarded in educational- health centers of Tabriz and according to the searchers view, one of its major reasons was the knowledge weakness of health staff about religious laws. Since individuals information, religious beliefs and traditional values effect on their behaviors, so before compilation of programs, it is necessary to be recognized the individuals knowledge, thought and attitudes about the field. So the searcher feels it is necessary to perform a search titled “The Investigation of Midwifery Students Knowledge and Attitude about Ladies Religious Rules in Faculty of Nursing- Midwifery of Medical Sciences University of Tabriz.”
Methods and Materials: This research was a descriptive survey. The method of collecting information was completion of questionnaire and expressing the collection of information was a questionnaire 3 sections: personal characteristics of the units under the survey and question about the knowledge and attitude. The research sample was the same search society which included the whole Midwifery students of both direct and indirect of the last two years semesters whom 95 answered the questions of the questionnaire.
Conclusion: With regarding to the main aim of the survey, “determination of knowledge and attitude of midwifery students about ladies religious rules”. 57.9% of midwifery students had middle knowledge and 31.6% had low knowledge. 62.05% of midwifery students had optimistic ideas and 38.95% had pessimistic ideas. On the whole, knowledge of units under the survey was lower than desired limits, therefore, the results of the survey could help responsible to make training courses to raise the knowledge of midwifery students.
