Abstract
Abstract: Introduction: The important changes of life are the factors causing anxiety one of this changes is surgery. Survivor’s opinion is that emotional reactions have specified effect on the intensity and velocity and process of physical diseases. In addition, it can cause preventing or delaying in patient’s recovery.
Method & Materials: Present survey is one correlational research assessing relationship between religious beliefs and descriptive preparation anxiety. Simple method in sampling has completed by investigator and the other by patients. To analysis of data, analytical and descriptive statistic have been used. Results was arranged in 85 tables. According of data, grading religious beliefs in one 29-145 scaling was 115/1. Whilst the mean of evident anxiety in one 20-80 scaling was 43/8.
Conclusion: Survey’s results demonstrate that there is no significant difference between religious beliefs and intensity of obvious and hidden anxiety. So religious beliefs in according to some demographic characteristic (e.g gender) has shown significant difference. Amongst behavioral and vital signs of anxiety it was seen significance difference between intensity of obvious anxiety with some symptoms such as plus rate, tremor, agitation, in concentration, flushing or paleness of the face.
Application: The result of this study can be received as a document to presentation religious counseling and spiritual interventions for individuals undergoing stress. Finally, investigator based upon the results of this study has suggested some recommendations of applying results and performing next studies.
