Developing Entrepreneurship Measurment Indicators for Iranian Medical Sciences Universites

Abstract

Introduction: Considering the importance of the health system and medical universities in human health and the impact of quantity and quality of services on economic issues and problems, there is a need for different methods and resources to meet the needs and demands of the service system and Universities of medical sciences to take action. One of the most effective approaches in this field, which has received a lot of attention from officials and researchers in recent years, is to pay attention to the issue of entrepreneurship and innovation in the health system. Fortunately, in recent years, this issue has been considered in the Iranian health system, so it is natural to have comprehensive and effective tools and approaches to monitor and monitor the progress and success in this direction. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop indicators for measuring entrepreneurship development in the structure of Iranian universities of medical sciences. Methods and materials: This research has designed the indicators for measuring entrepreneurship development using a combined approach and with the help of Delphi technique using text review and semi-structured interviews. Participants in this study included experts and senior managers of the health system and medical universities in Iran in the field of entrepreneurship in the health system, experts in other fields, including the faculties of the universities of the Ministry of Science and Research, and other people and experts. Depending on the case, it has been from different sections. Results: In this study, according to experts, entrepreneurship indicators were identified in 6 main areas including infrastructure and capacities of entrepreneurship development, research, education, management and structure, investment and bedrock in university entrepreneurship, productivity and results in university entrepreneurship. Conclusion: Studies have shown that there is no clear definition of Vixan on how to measure the performance of university entrepreneurship, but the estimation, forecasting, evaluation and outcome measurement as part of the process of facilitating and developing entrepreneurship in the university by operational indicators is necessary.
