Determination of diagnostic value of Persian version Stroke Riskometer app in comparison with clinical examination to predict the risk of stroke

Abstract
Aim: Evaluation of the predictive ability of individual stroke risk using the Persian version of the Stroke RiskometerMethods: To investigate the performance of Persian version of stroke risk predication tool (Stroke Riscometer), a sample of 150 individuals selected from the population covered by Sib system of Tabriz Health Center. The questionnaire consisting of 20 questions, based on the Stroke Riskometer app parameters, was completed by the individuals. The questionnaire was then filled in by the doctor after examination and considering the patient's history. The relative risk of stroke was calculated for individuals of the same age and gender with no risk factors. Results: The 5-year relative risk of stroke, had a median distribution of 2.90 and a quartile median range of 4.64-1.84. The maximum 5-year relative risk of stroke was 24.24 and the minimum was 0.75. The 10-year relative risk of stroke, had a median distribution of 2.26 and a quartile median range of 1.59-3.74. The maximum 10-year relative risk of stroke was 24.44 and the minimum was 0.23.
