Comparison of pharmacy practice experience education and practice in the three pharmacy faculties including Tabriz, Shahid Beheshti and Tehran in the academic year of 1397-1398

Abstract
The pharmacy internship course is one of the special units in the field of pharmacy in which the ability of pharmacy students to attend the pharmacy is formed. It seems that the majority of pharmacy students work in pharmacies after graduation, which shows the importance of pharmacy internships for student education. Given that pharmacy work requires skill and knowledge at the same time. . . . . . Aim: The purpose of this study is to compare the training method and acquisition of skills in pharmacy internship courses in three faculties of pharmacy, Tabriz, Shahid Beheshti and Tehran in the academic year 2018-2019. Method: In this cross-sectional study, standard questionnaires developed by the internship department were completed by students in three faculties of Tabriz, Tehran and Shahid Beheshti and the satisfaction of students and teachers from the courses were compared. Results: In this study, 6 instructors of internship courses and 93 students entered the study. The level of satisfaction with the internship course in the faculty of Tehran among teachers and students was lower than the rest of the faculties and the level of satisfaction of teachers and students in the faculty of Tabriz was the highest. The average number of hours allocated to this course among Tehran students during the week was higher than other students. Most students have mentioned their efforts more than other courses. In three faculties, student participation has been mentioned more than other courses. Conclusion: The satisfaction of students and teachers with internships in Tabriz Faculty of Pharmacy has been significantly higher than other faculties. Most students and teachers in all three faculties have considered internship courses as one of the main courses and required to acquire skills.
