Modeling of changes in Health Related Quality of Life among university student with and without headache: a cohort study

Abstract
Introduction: It is important to pay attention to the headache in relation to the quality of life of students. The key to preventing headaches is identifying the motivating factors. Identify and change these lifestyle factors, reduces the incidence and severity of the disease and eventually, it improves the quality of life. Hence in this study of modeling changes of Health related quality of life in headache students is studied. Methods: This is a prospective longitudinal analytical study in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. This information is provided by a structured questionnaire, Demographic information, lifestyle factors, and proprietary tools for quality assessment Life, Anxiety, Depression, Sleep Quality, International Headache Questionnaire; Internal consistency.Students with migraine headaches and tension were identified with an international checklist and approved by a neurologist. In the research analysis section, we investigate the relationship between quantitative and qualitative variables with tests Independent t-test, covariance analysis, Mann-Whitney, chi-square, Fisher exact test, ANOVA, Ordinal regression done. Modeling was also performed in this study using a hierarchical approach and it was performed using the mixed models method in Stata software. Results: The prevalence of tension-type headaches was 11/4% and the prevalence of Migraine was 6/4 %. Average Changes in mental health quality score in students with migraine and tension headaches, respectively the average was 2.4 points lower than other students this year. Average quality score students who have depression were 3.59 points less than those without depression and for individuals with anxiety was 4.7 points lower than those they had no anxiety. Score of Quality of life in women was lower than in men and in people with good socioeconomic status were significantly higher. Conclusion: The present study is one of the first researches of its kind in which, The Relationship between Quality of Life in Students with Clinical and Statistical Migraine and Tension Headache Comparison with the control group was examined and it was shown that headaches had a significant relationship with quality of life are related to health. Psychological factors studied and lifestyle important in the experience of migraines People with migraine and tension headaches can adapt to lifestyle, event, frequently Reduce the severity of headaches. Despite advances in treatment, the prevalence of migraine has not changed in the last 13 years. Identifying and Considering the Factors Influencing the Stimulation and Severity of Headache Pain Next to treatment is essential.
