Prognostic Factors Influencing on Patients Vision Suffering from Behcet’s Disease: Cross Sectional Study on 15 Years Data of Nikukari Uveitis Clinic
Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the factors that predict behcet’s patients' vision in a 15-year review of the uveitis clinic at the Nikukari Hospital.
Materials and Methods: The study of patients with ocular complications of Behcet's disease in terms of prognostic and prognostic factors in patients referred to the Nouakchary Hospital during the last 15 years. All of the effective factors were extracted from patient records and were recorded in the variables table.
Results: The mean ± SD of the patients' age was 33.08 ± 8.6 years with a median of 34 years. The type of uveitis has the highest frequency of pan uveitis with an abundance of 33 cases (33%). The most common symptom associated with oral ulcer was 67%. The most common type of treatment was the use of steroids with an incidence of 94 cases (94%). The most common complication after maculae is macular edema with an abundance of 62 cases (62%).
