The history of Old age in Persian Medicine From Selected manuscripts

Abstract

Introduction: Nowadays eldership is one of humanity social issues although at recent years is remarked to this problem specifically but via study and scrutiny old texts is understood that ancient people have paid with special significant to cycle of oldness, medicine, treatment, nutrition and another side effect of past times. The main idea of this study make a search about historical health term of eldership from second lunar hijri century until end of thirteenth century. Method and material: This research is a review study which pays to scientist opinion and philosophers regarding health of eldership. To aim of select books is considered to some criteria's like skill of writers in treatment and pragmatic experience and resource fluency. In this process to search are chosen eight books of famous philosophers from second hijri century till thirteenth century. Findings: This research finding show that during history philosophers and scientists have pay attended to term of eldership and in order to pass this time better have presented medical, nutritional and therapeutic solutions and suggestions. conclusion: During various centuries each of philosophers have considered to cycle of eldership with different vision and have pointed to some tips which can say these contents are in the same orientation occasionally and sometime complete each other and sometimes overlap each other.
