Study of the prevalence of sleep disordered breathing in women with stroke in Imam Reza Hospital

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of sleep disorder in stroke patients admitted to the neurology department of Imam Reza Hospital Methods and Material: In this cross-sectional study, all women admitted with cerebral stroke diagnosis in the second six months of 2017 included in the study. The inclusion criteria were: Female sex, Ischemic stroke detection. Exclusion criteria were: hemorrhagic stroke, inability to respond to the questionnaire, incomplete completion of the questionnaire. Results: In this study, 58 patients were examined based on the criteria for entering and leaving the study and 3 cases were excluded from the study due to a defect in the relevant information. Finally, 55 patients were examined. The mean age, height, weight, and BMI of patients were 55.14 ± 14.34 years and 156.13 ± 7.2, 88.73 ± 12.32, and 35.39 ± 3.7, respectively. Blood pressure, hypercholesterolemia and fatty liver and diabetes and ischemic heart disease were reported in 40 patients and 19 patients in 13 patients and 17 patients and 22 patients, respectively.
