Usability evaluation of Azarsa library management system Byexperts using Xerox princples and by users using martin shrepp user experience questionaire
چکیده
Abstract:
Purpose: The main purpose of this study is evaluate the applicability of Azarsa library management software.
Methods: In this research, Xerox Exploration Evaluation Method was selected to evaluate applicability. Therefore, Nielsen's Applicability Exploration Standard Checklist was used. In this study, Martin Shreep Pair Characteristics Assessment Questionnaire (2017) was used to evaluate the applicability of the Azersa library management system for ordinary users. To collect data, 200 ordinary were used. To collect data from four evaluators, two computer experts and two experienced library engineers.
Results: The findings showed that the component of the fourth principle of "compatibility and standards" with a score of 101, is the most respected component of the system and "visibility of the system state" with score 66 and the seventh principle of "recognition rather than remembering" with the score of 65 are the largest components of the system. Findings also, showed that the highest scores related to the average data obtained from the assessment of the Azersa library management system related to the components and scale of "transparency" of the system with an average of 0.772 and the scale of the "innovation" of the system with The average is 0.50 and then the system's "motivating" scale is at an average of 0.529.
Discussion and conclusion: The status of the components of the Azersa library management system, based on the evaluation of the pair of Martin Shreep features, showed the system has a higher degree of transparency, that showed the system has readable, easy, non-complex learning, It's clear and easy that most of users have confirmed the transparency of the system.
