Abstract
Abstract:
Introduction: The purpose of any cost management system is to provide accurate and practical information to assist health care organizations in providing quality goods and services in a competitive environment. In the meantime, one of the main challenges of health care organizations is to properly allocate costs and avoid wasting resources in a way that meets the needs of the community.
Method: The cross-sectional study was conducted in 2016 in four stages: 1- Determining the service package, 2- Calculating the cost of services in health complex, 3- Determining the benefits of services 4- Per capita weight calculation for age groups, and finally, adjusted per capita determination. Data analysis was done through Excel software.
Findings: Services were extracted in 11 units and 56 groups. The highest cost for services is "staff training according to the training calendar" and the lowest is for environmental health licenses and health certification services. The weight of the age and age group in the present study was 59-60 years for males and the highest weight for age group 0-5 years. Per capita payments without adjusting for age and sex, with and without consideration for rent, 479,991 and 440,373 persons, respectively, and adjusted per capita for age and sex, with and without consideration for rent, building and equipment Estimated to be 241,017 and 236,782, respectively.
Conclusion: Policymakers and planners can reassess costs by considering age and gender per capita. Therefore, according to the current research, more per capita entitlements should be allocated to the 0-5 age group
Also, for the lighter age group (20-59 males and over 60 years), there should be less per capita income to avoid wasting resources and minimizing outsourcing.
