Abstract
Abstract Introduction: The Ministry of Health and Medical Education has pledged that by the end of the fourth development plan (until the beginning of 1389) plans to implement the whole family doctor. Currently, the plan is less than 20 thousand inhabitants in towns and villages running. Use them as family doctors, general practitioners and v is the characteristic of this project is extremely important that The necessity of estimating physician requirements and develop appropriate ratio of population per physician health care team to achieve the objectives of the project manifests. Objective: This study aimed to develop a standardized family physician-to-population ratio defined by WISN in Ahvaz is designed and implemented. Methods: This study used descriptive categories - analytic. The study physicians working in health centers host city of Ahvaz is a family physician. In this study, all of the processes that physicians care programs are doing Identify the timing and method of WISN physicians for a population of 4,000 people, respectively. Results: The results of the analysis of the data shows that physicians are required to provide services to a population of 4,000 people in the family physician's patients is 2.14 and we have a shortage of 1.14 doctors per population of host centers face.
