چکیده
INTRODUCTION:femals urethral stricture are treated with dilatation and internal urethrotomy, but these methods are not always good. In these patients, surgical treatment using vaginal flaps may be useful. Repair of female urethral stricture disease is difficult. First, the disease is less common than male urethral stricture disease making the surgeon less familiar with the technique. Second, the shorter urethra and proximity to the vaginal mucosa allows for little margin of error; treatment therapies include dilatation, endoscopic treatment, or open surgery using flaps and grafts. In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of ureteroplasty using vaginal wall flap in the treatment of femals urethral stricture . Material and methods: In a clinical trial study of women suffering from urethral stricture referring to Imam Reza Tabriz Hospital in the 2017-2018 first {2018}, the urthoplasty was performed using a vaginal flap. Patients were evaluated 3-6 months after the operation with urodynamic and PVR and QMAX and the reduction of obstructive urethral symptoms according to the AUA Symptom Score questionnaire and Complications of the surgry, such as fistula-urine incontinency-stricture Results: In this study, 14 patients underwent urethroplasty surgery using vaginal flap for treatment of urethral stricture. None of the patients had fistulas. Of 14 patients, 10 (42.71%) patients had normal voiding, and 4 (28.57%) patients no Normal voiding, and none of the 14 cases had relapses of symptome, and in all 14 patients, PVR was lower than 100, and none of the 14 patients had recurrence of urethral stricture , and from 14 patients before surgery, all patients had a degree of incontinence Following surgery and during the fallo up, 10 patients recovered, and 2 had urge urinary incontinence (14.28%) and 2 had stress urinary incontinence (14.28%).
